How do you determine pick order?
    You've filled out your questionnaire.  You've been on the waiting list for months.  You've
sent in your deposit...and now you want to know..."Do I get first pick?"

    Well, after years of breeding, and tweaking the process, I believe I have found a way to
process.  If you have further questions, feel free to email.

1) First step is to fill out our questionnaire.  Being thorough and detailed helps the picking
process down the road.  Also, the questionnaire is used to "hold" your spot on our waiting list.  
We go by date order and those that have been on the waiting list the longest have first priority
in getting a puppy.  (If I have 10 people on my waiting list, and only 7 puppies, then the first 7
people on my list would get a puppy.)  

2)  When the puppies are born, I contact those on my list and let them know if they made the
"cut" based on the number of puppies born.  A $250 deposit is required at this time to
guarantee that you will get a puppy.  Upon the receipt of the deposit  you are guaranteed a
puppy.  

3) I will post pictures of the puppies at different stages on my site.  They will get temporary
names as well.

4) At 4 weeks, you are invited to visit the puppies.  No visitors are allowed prior to that time due
to risk of germs and stress of mom and babies.  

5) At 6 weeks, I do a series of exercises on the puppies that will help me to determine the
puppies temperment.  These exercises, and my observations of the puppies while at play are
usually very accurate in determining personalities.  I will then post 6 week pictures and my
findings of their temperment on the website.

6) After I post pics and test results, I ask each family to choose their top three favorite puppies.
 

7)  Once I receive everyone's choices, I will look over the questionnaire, consider each puppy's
temperment and each family's situation, and then I will make the final choice for you.  

8) I send an email to all the families announcing which puppy best fits your family.

9) At 7 weeks, you are invited to come and pick up your new baby!

So...to recap...you will be getting one of your top three favorite puppies.  But I make the final
choice for you.  This is because I know my puppies better than anyone, and I am the best
judge of which puppy will fit with each family.  So far...all the families are very, very happy!
